LRFD responds to all fires including commercial, residential, vehicle, and wildland fires. No matter the size, please always call 911, not the station directly.

LRFD staffs Advance Life Support (ALS) ambulances with cutting edge equipment such as Zoll monitors and an Autopulse, a Glidescope, and progressive protocols.

Through business inspections, public education, and more, LRFD aims to reduce hazards and risks for our community.

LRFD carries Hurst eDraulic rescue tools, aka "The Jaws of Life." Our fleet includes cutters, spreaders, and a ram, all battery-operated.

Burn Permits may be purchased for $8 at our station at 501 Johnson Lane with cash or check. Alternatively, permits may be purchased online here through the Yellowstone County website. Once a permit is obtained, please give us a call the day-of before you start to burn.

Thanks to a partnership with the American Red Cross, we are pleased to provide homes in need with up to 4 free smoke alarms. To schedule an installation, please fill out our contact us form.
