Reserve Program

Reserve firefighters are a volunteer position that fill a very important role in the operations of our Fire Department. Reserves are required to attend one training session and one 24 hour duty shift per month, as well as being subject to call-ins for large incidents. While on duty shifts, they train and respond on all 911 calls along with the career duty crew. 

Requirements:

• 18 years old or older

• Valid Montana Driver’s license

• Emergency Medical Technician -Basic

• Basic Wildland Firefighter (desired)

• High school diploma or the equivalent
